Having managed so many junior doctors over a period of 4 years I have never met anyone so caring, joyful, always smiling and always on the go like Joseph.  He was a charming and thoughtful individual who would do anything for anyone.

He was an extraordinary character. Unique and funny. He worked very hard at everything he did and you could see the passion for his profession in his eyes. It could easily be said that he was born with that care instilled in him and that clearly showed whenever you had the opportunity to be around him.  I remember walking into the doctors' office one afternoon when he was having a mini teaching session with the other trainees and the way he was relaying information to them was like that of a father to his children.  Very moving indeed.

Joseph was a joy to be around. He was full of life and never let things bring him down.  I feel truly blessed to have met him, worked with him for that period of time and still kept in touch with him. His memories will live on in my heart forever.
