Joseph - it has been an honour and privilege to have met and worked with you. Your enthusiasm, warmth and dedication was infectious and all at the Chest Clinic who have worked with you echo this impression. Following on from your success and knowing your abilities, I have no doubt your career and contribution in medicine would have been great and I was looking forward to seeing what was 'next' and to continue as an academic mentor. You will be missed. My deepest condolences to your family.
