I had not seen Jospeh for a few years but was deeply saddened to hear this news. Joseph was a very good friend to me at sixth form, during our year out and in the years afterwards. Particularly during my year out his great sense of adventure and enormous enthusiasm was an inspiration for me. He was a truly special person and my thoughts are with his wife and family at this time.
This candle was first lit on the 8th of July 2012 and will burn for 88 years 1 month and 19 days.
